[00:00:10] Speaker A: Welcome to MIAC Campus Perspective. Today we're talking about our Christmas list, part one. But first, what is Christmas? [00:00:20] Speaker B: My name is Madison. And when I think Christmas, Christmas is like God's birthday. A new year of, like, God, like, making more people and, like, into this world. And I think Christmas is like, something like someone or some family is celebrating with, like, their family from, like, somewhere else, or they travel to, like, like, to the person's country or something like that. And while they're celebrating, they're celebrating open up gifts that their parents were their aunties or their uncles had gave, and they're just having a good time. [00:01:01] Speaker A: Okay, Halimatu, what is Christmas for you? [00:01:04] Speaker C: Christmas for me is like, Jesus birthday, and he's gonna come back to the world to see every type of every kid in the world, and we got to celebrate Christmas with our family. If you don't get closer to your families, then you can go and, like, you can celebrate Christmas with your family. Family. That's why that's Christmas for me. [00:01:28] Speaker A: Madison, what would you like for your Christmas wish list? [00:01:33] Speaker B: Well, for. Well, I'm just gonna. Three things, but, like, three things I would want for Christmas is like, probably a Pandora bracelet, Jordan Threes, and essential hoodie. [00:01:47] Speaker A: Madison. What? Why would you want an essential hoodie? [00:01:51] Speaker B: I wouldn't want essential hoodie because my doggy had bited up and stuff like that. [00:01:59] Speaker A: And why do you want a Pandora bracelet? [00:02:01] Speaker B: I want a Pandora placement because the Pandora plays it. You can have charms, and some of the charms, they're like, a good look sometimes. And some of the charms, it can be from my mom or something like that. My mom can't give me some charms, and it could be like, oh, she's right there with me because my bracelet has it on. [00:02:19] Speaker A: Okay, last question for you, Madison. Why do you want Jordan Threes? [00:02:26] Speaker B: It's a little personal, but I want to match with someone. [00:02:29] Speaker A: Okay. Who's the special somebody? [00:02:32] Speaker B: Can't tell. [00:02:33] Speaker A: Okay, Alibatu, what would you like for your Christmas list? [00:02:39] Speaker C: IPhone 16 Pro Max. And in the AirPod. [00:02:43] Speaker A: And a what? [00:02:44] Speaker C: IPod. [00:02:45] Speaker B: AirPod? [00:02:46] Speaker C: Yes. [00:02:46] Speaker A: Oh, why do you. How about. Why do you want an iPhone 16 Pro Max? [00:02:52] Speaker C: Because I don't have a phone. And, like, that's the new phone in the world, so I want that one. That's the chosen one to go to heaven. [00:03:03] Speaker A: Okay. And so last question. Why do you. Why do you want these AirPods? [00:03:12] Speaker C: Because that's the other mom told me. Don't watch. And no, like, there's stuff that my mom told me. Don't listen to. And like, sometimes I listen to that so I have to have some airport or sometimes when I'm listening to songs, I can listen it. I can listen. I can listen to the. To the song. And the airports. Use the airports instead of using some headphones. [00:03:37] Speaker A: If you don't get your AirPods, would you like just some headphones? [00:03:42] Speaker C: Yeah, of course. [00:03:44] Speaker D: What's up? What's up? My name is Gordon and I'll be your host for today. This is part two of our episode. I have Holly, Holly, Matsu, Michelle and Elsie in the studio to discuss. So, Elsie, what do you think Christmas is about? [00:04:00] Speaker E: I think Christmas is about when. When Jesus came back and you're celebrating his birthday and stuff. [00:04:08] Speaker D: Halu, what do you think Christmas is about? [00:04:11] Speaker C: I think Christmas is about when Jesus come back to the earth and celebrate his birthday with the kids, oldest, even the people that die. The people that died. And we got to celebrate with Christmas with your family. Even, like, if you. One of your family goes far to work and like, maybe in Christmas day, they can give him a day off to come and celebrate Christmas with the family. [00:04:46] Speaker D: Michelle, what do you think Christmas is about? [00:04:48] Speaker A: I think Christmas is about spending time with your family, opening presents and you celebrating Jesus's birthday and also spending time with Jesus. Even though Jesus is not alive, he could see you from up there. [00:05:08] Speaker D: I heard a lot of stuff about Jesus. Y'all love Jesus. Ain't Jesus good? [00:05:11] Speaker A: Yes. [00:05:12] Speaker C: Yep. [00:05:13] Speaker D: I don't like Jesus. I love him. [00:05:15] Speaker C: Yeah, of course. Me too. [00:05:17] Speaker A: Yeah, me too. [00:05:19] Speaker D: So, Michelle, what do you want for Christmas? [00:05:23] Speaker A: What I want for Christmas are three things. I want a new Stanley Cup, I want new Uggs and new shoes. [00:05:34] Speaker D: Why do you want some new Uggs? [00:05:37] Speaker A: Because the one I have are black and they're a size three and I'm a size four and they still fit me, but, like, I don't really like them no more. So, like, I wanna have new Uggs. So. Yeah. [00:05:54] Speaker D: Can I have those? [00:05:55] Speaker A: No. Okay. What size are you? [00:05:59] Speaker D: Three and a half. [00:06:01] Speaker A: Womp. [00:06:02] Speaker D: Womp. Tell me, Elsie, what do you want for Christmas? [00:06:07] Speaker E: I want a pen, a Pandora ring, a new iPhone. [00:06:14] Speaker C: The iPhone 16 pink. [00:06:16] Speaker E: And. [00:06:20] Speaker C: The. [00:06:21] Speaker E: The iPad with the two or three cameras. [00:06:24] Speaker D: Why do you want an iPhone? [00:06:27] Speaker E: Because mine is too small. [00:06:30] Speaker A: It's. You know why it's small? It's small because it's a mini. No, it's because you have very small hands and you can hold your very mini small phone and your small hands. That way it's not big and you don't have to like, start climbing your hands up. [00:06:49] Speaker E: I don't do that. [00:06:51] Speaker A: Because you have a mini phone. That's why the floor is too small for me. [00:06:56] Speaker C: Yeah, because you have small. [00:06:58] Speaker A: You have small hands. [00:07:01] Speaker D: But not least, what do you Want for Christmas? [00:07:06] Speaker C: IPhone 16, Pro Max and airports. I didn't care. And. And I. I wanted that big. And then when I beg. Teddy bear. A big teddy bear. I like teddy bear for me and my sister. [00:07:25] Speaker D: Why do you want. What do you want? [00:07:27] Speaker C: A big teddy bear so I can share with my sister. And we are like tired. Oh, we are sick of my mom. Sometimes my mom is annoying and like, we're going to rest because, like she kept like talking like she keep talking to herself, but. But she's chatting on me. And me and my sister, we can go and play with the teddy bear. Even if she's a baby yet. She have like three months. Even if she's that young. But we can go and play if your mom's. I don't. [00:08:04] Speaker D: If your mom's being annoying, then, I mean, you should probably do what she tells you to do because. [00:08:10] Speaker C: No, I do it. And then she started chatting on me again. Like when I clean the house, she said that it's not clean yet. She have to tell me to do it again and I do it again. Like she have to tell me to do it again and again. Like sometimes, like bored doing that. [00:08:30] Speaker D: If you were to get a celebrity for Christmas for your Christmas gift, who would it be? [00:08:35] Speaker C: Ice, Spice? The Rock? [00:08:38] Speaker E: Michael B. Jordan. [00:08:43] Speaker C: I want to see the Rock. [00:08:44] Speaker D: Why do you want Rocco? What is it? Is his name Rocco or Caro G? Cardo G. Yes. [00:08:53] Speaker A: Oh, I'm sorry. [00:08:54] Speaker D: Why do you want Cardo G? [00:08:56] Speaker A: Because she's one of my favorite artists. [00:08:59] Speaker D: Wait, is it Cardi B? [00:09:01] Speaker C: No. [00:09:02] Speaker D: Are you sure you're not talking about Cardi B? [00:09:04] Speaker C: No, no. I started watching his movie before I watch everybody else movies. Like my dad showed me him before. I was like, I was like two or three, something like that. And my dad like let me watch his movie. He didn't let me watch some out some other movies. If it's not that movie, I could watch baby. Baby stuff. [00:09:39] Speaker D: Elsie, why do you want. [00:09:43] Speaker E: Michael B. Jordan?
