[00:00:06] Speaker A: Welcome to the vsc. Parentheses perspective. My name is Victoria. Today we're going to be talking about what the school needs. One of the topics of that is Better Free Free. What makes a good principal. And we need a teacher that don't crash out.
[00:00:21] Speaker B: My name is Elsie.
[00:00:22] Speaker C: My name is Halumatu.
[00:00:23] Speaker D: My name is Michelle.
[00:00:24] Speaker A: The first topic we are going to be talking about is Better Free free. What do you think about this, Elsie?
[00:00:29] Speaker B: I think what we need better free treat is like chicken that is not raw.
Burritos that don't smell like doo doo and potatoes that don't look like they were sitting there for like five days.
[00:00:47] Speaker A: Exactly. In the school I be seeing on Tik Tok in like China and stuff. They be looking good and stuff. So I feel like they need to give us better food and upgrade.
[00:00:59] Speaker C: And we need a deli in the school like so we can buy food. Like if you cannot go to the deli next to this today to the school, you can come to the school without going to the Delhi next to this.
[00:01:13] Speaker D: And also you need to have a microwave in the kitchen because like what happens if you bring your food code? Like no one wants to, you know, food code because I get it that they have in the teacher's lounge, but like y'all need to have in the kitchen.
[00:01:29] Speaker A: Yeah, I agree with that. Because they be giving us a food that don't taste good at all and they be making us waste it too because they be like just grab it and then throw it out.
[00:01:45] Speaker B: For me, the chicken nuggets, it be too squishy and it feels watery at the same time.
[00:01:51] Speaker D: Yeah, sometimes the mozzarella sticks too because they're in it.
They're like soggy because they have, they have the heat in the food and it's, it's going to get soggy when it's wet.
[00:02:06] Speaker C: Even, even, even the beans, they don't.
[00:02:09] Speaker D: Put salt on it because when the plates and the black paint, they be soggy because we can see it on the top and they be getting, giving us the food to grab it and then next thing you know we throw it out because we don't like it.
[00:02:25] Speaker B: And the grilled cheese, it, the bread doesn't even like bread. It looks like, like Indian bread. But I don't like Indian bread.
[00:02:35] Speaker D: Me either.
[00:02:35] Speaker A: Me too.
[00:02:36] Speaker D: I tried the grilled cheese and I did not like it.
[00:02:39] Speaker A: I never tried it before. It looks disgusting.
[00:02:41] Speaker D: It is disgusting.
[00:02:43] Speaker C: Yeah, like the cheese, sometimes the cheese doesn't melt.
[00:02:48] Speaker D: That's why I always be praying to God to give us Something good for lunch is.
[00:02:54] Speaker A: And then they be giving it. If we go to school. If you go to after school they'd be giving us food. But it only be good. Yeah, but usually just give us grilled cheese.
[00:03:04] Speaker D: No, because they be. They be giving us the leftover food that's in the kitchen from lunchtime.
[00:03:09] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:09] Speaker A: So it's more soggy and disgusting.
[00:03:11] Speaker D: Exactly.
[00:03:11] Speaker A: I don't be eating it.
[00:03:12] Speaker D: And sometimes they be just making the food. Yeah. And it would be stinky when we're not there. And they, they be making disgusting food.
[00:03:21] Speaker B: And we kind of need the chicken nuggets crispy.
[00:03:25] Speaker D: Yeah, we want the chicken soggy. Yeah, we want the chicken nuggets crispy that we can see it from our eyes.
[00:03:32] Speaker C: Even in breakfast when they bring pancakes, the pancake doesn't taste good.
[00:03:36] Speaker D: Exactly. Because they be making some weird rounded eggs looking self things.
[00:03:41] Speaker A: I never be here for breakfast because I always be late.
[00:03:44] Speaker D: Girl, you was here for breakfast this morning. Oh yeah.
[00:03:47] Speaker B: I breakfast. I don't, I don't grab the food cuz.
[00:03:50] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:03:50] Speaker D: I only grab the apple.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: I don't even go to the line to get food. Sit down.
[00:03:56] Speaker C: I just go to get food because of the seed. Because I like seed.
[00:04:01] Speaker D: No one barely goes to get breakfast for that reason. Because we. They don't make good breakfasts. They be making these muffins that no one be eating. Oh the bagels. They need to make it like they need to make it. They need to make it hot because they don't be making it cold. They be putting it next to the cold section where the cheese is at in the sea cereal and the sunflower seeds and the apples and the milk. At least put something in the bagel that we can eat.
[00:04:25] Speaker C: Yeah. Even if in the milk. Sometimes they are like the milk are close to spire.
[00:04:32] Speaker A: So sometimes they drink.
[00:04:33] Speaker D: Exactly.
[00:04:35] Speaker B: And to start off. And then the tuna. The tuna. The tuna sandwiches.
[00:04:41] Speaker A: Oh, I don't like tuna. The extra sandwiches that they be having like the peanut butter and jelly. One, one time, one time I ate it. Right. Oh my God, it was so dry and disgusting. I threw it out.
Yeah. The next topic we're going to be talking about is what makes a good principal.
[00:04:59] Speaker D: A good principal makes a friendly attitude. Like when we walk by them, they, when we say hi, they need to say hi back. And they approach us to say how was your day? And good morning. Good afternoon.
[00:05:14] Speaker A: Yes. And not always have like a mad face to think like to be scared. We don't want to be scared of them. Yeah, you want, we want to think of them like for us to help them. And they. If they always have like a mad face in something, we're not gonna want to.
[00:05:28] Speaker D: I have anything principal in my old school and she was friendly. She never looked mad. She. She'll walk up to us and she.
[00:05:34] Speaker A: In my old school, there wasn't like technically a real principal. Just like, I forgot what it's called, but yeah.
And, and.
[00:05:45] Speaker D: And in my old school, my, like, my teacher was never mad. She literally approached us and she'll be like, good morning, good afternoon, how was your day today? Hi. And then she. We will say good and high back and then she will leave to go back to more people to talk.
[00:06:03] Speaker B: And I want to go to them when something's wrong instead of them having.
[00:06:07] Speaker D: A mad face at me all the time.
[00:06:09] Speaker A: You want them also to be kind and stuff. You don't want them to always have, like, have an attitude or when you ask them something, give a mad attitude for some reason, like, we don't want them. Let's say we, we ask for something and they give us a bad attitude, we're not gonna want to ask them again. Even if you don't know what happened, maybe they'll be kind next time. But you upset and your instincts is gonna be like, oh, maybe she's gonna be rude next time so you won't go back to her to ask anything.
[00:06:43] Speaker D: And also the cheat, the principals, we want to approach them, but like, not when they're mad because when you walk past them, we should. They should be able to say hi and don't say to take off our hoodies because rabbits were in a bad mood.
[00:07:04] Speaker C: Literally every school does that.
[00:07:06] Speaker D: Exactly. I need to make.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: They need to change it from every school.
[00:07:10] Speaker D: I think it's a law from the district that they say that we can't have hoods in the district because we're inside and we're not outside to be like having our hoods in, like, it's not cold.
[00:07:30] Speaker A: Okay, so the next topic we are going to be talking about is teachers that don't crash out. So what crashing out is like when like a person gets super mad and in this, like it's like super mad and they go like crazy and just like start screaming.
And yeah, a teacher crashes out because they just probably mad or something happened, whatever before they came to school, but it don't be our problem. So that's why we be so mad. And also one time when our teacher, she, she. I think I was talking with one of my friends, I forgot what happened and Then she came in my face and she started. She. She spit on me and I was like, get out my face. Get on my face. Get on my face. And she still didn't get on my face. And then she did, she. She came, she came, sat right next to me and she was like, oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that. But she always be doing it, so you're really not sorry.
[00:08:29] Speaker D: And also she one time she went in my face and I told her to get out my face because she was smiling at me. And she like. And I'm like, I didn't like that. And like she was spitting in my face also like Victoria said.
And she was all up in my face. And I'm like, I'm like, I'm going back that way. She don't spit in my face because I don't like that.
[00:08:54] Speaker A: Some of the teachers that don't crash out is. One of our other math teachers is Mr.
[00:09:00] Speaker C: Pass.
[00:09:00] Speaker A: She like, she only crash and it's not even really like crash out. The most she does is like scream a little. She's like, she's calm and everything. She's a fun teacher. She's funny and she let us like work all together. It's just she be getting mad when we talk and don't do our work. But that's understandable. So yeah, it's not like those other two that just crash out for no reason. So that's why I really like Mr.
[00:09:24] Speaker D: And another teacher that doesn't crash out is Ms. Lee. And she's our gym teacher. She lets us do whatever we want, but first we get our work done and then. And yeah, she don't. She just be telling us be quiet and like, don't stop talking and do your work. She don't be like screaming at us or yelling at us.
[00:09:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't think Ms. Lee ever screamed at us.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: And the other teachers is Ms. Bonnet. Ms. Bonin is very nice and she gives us snacks if we do our work. And sometimes we get hot chocolate and we can stay with lunch for.
[00:09:59] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:10:00] Speaker C: And Another teacher is Mr. Guy.
[00:10:02] Speaker A: Mr.
[00:10:03] Speaker C: Guy, he's calm and like when he just crushed out one time because like the class wasn't listening. So he crushed out because I was like trying to say something and then he crashed out so the class kept interrupting him. Mr. Guy is one of our favorite teacher of the school.
[00:10:26] Speaker A: Yeah. And also another one that don't crash out is Mr. Gwyn. He's like, he's like, like a funny, good teacher. It's just like he be sometimes giving us lunch detention, but that's all. That's all that happens really. He's a good teacher. He. I don't think he ever like really screamed at us. He got like loud with us one time, but not like scream. So I think he's a pretty good teacher.
[00:10:49] Speaker D: And Another teacher is Mr. Gene. He's our.
He's our study island teacher slash for win math a teacher because he just be telling us to be quiet.
[00:11:09] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, I agree with that. So thank you for listening to the BSC Panthers perspective. Hope you learned us to next time. Happy holidays.
[00:11:19] Speaker D: Bye.
