[00:00:12] Speaker A: Welcome to BSC Panthers Perspective. My name is Kiana, and today my co host is Zamari. [00:00:17] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:18] Speaker A: And today we will be interviewing Snoop Dogg. He's a rapper. A rapper and an actor. Thank you, Snoop Dogg, for joining our podcast today. [00:00:26] Speaker C: What's up? It's D O, double G. Cause that'll be me. [00:00:30] Speaker A: My first question is, what was your favorite movie that you act in? [00:00:34] Speaker C: My favorite movie that I've personally act in is Soul Playing. Because it was actually pretty funny working with Kevin Hart and all them other people. [00:00:43] Speaker B: Snoop Dogg, I have a question. What was your favorite scene in that movie? [00:00:47] Speaker C: When the. When I got high off of the African mushrooms, and then I passed out. [00:00:53] Speaker A: Okay, okay. Why did you. Why did you start rapping? [00:00:59] Speaker C: I started rapping because at the time, I was in prison, and then I called out the Dre to come bail me out, and then we did a song called Nothing but G Thing. And then. And then that's how I became a rapper, because then I started working with Dre. [00:01:14] Speaker B: Can you read me one of the lyrics from G Thing? [00:01:18] Speaker C: I got you. 1, 2, 3. To the foe, Snoop Doggy Dog. And Dre's at the door ready to make an entrance. So back on up. [00:01:30] Speaker B: Okay, thank you. [00:01:31] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:01:32] Speaker A: Who inspired you to start rapping? [00:01:36] Speaker C: The guy I work with, Dr. Dre. But it was also this group called NWA, which was back in the time. See, Dr. Dre was actually in that group till they broke apart, and then he came to Death Row. So anytime we saw nwa, I had to be like, oh, dang, these damn clowns. I hate those clowns. Cause I couldn't. [00:01:57] Speaker B: Cause Snoop Dog. I have a question. [00:02:00] Speaker C: Yes? [00:02:00] Speaker B: What does NWA stand for? [00:02:04] Speaker C: I can't say that because, you know, it's kind of bad, but it stands for N Words with attitude. [00:02:09] Speaker A: How do you feel when you rap? [00:02:11] Speaker C: I think I feel like I'm doing a good inspiration. Because let's say if I'm not. If I said I'm gonna make a song, then I'm gonna do it for the people. People. [00:02:19] Speaker B: Sudo, I have a question. Why you was. While you was on the Mafia thon with K in November. Who do you. Who do you think was the weakest when y'all was in the suv? [00:02:30] Speaker C: I think it was Kai. My man was almost passed out, but. [00:02:33] Speaker B: T was the first one to leave. [00:02:37] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. T could handle it. Yeah, yeah. [00:02:43] Speaker A: All right. Do you make songs that help people express their feelings? What is one of those songs that you think that help people express their feelings? [00:02:53] Speaker C: Who am I? [00:02:54] Speaker B: Can you read me a line? [00:02:56] Speaker C: What? [00:02:57] Speaker B: Can you read me a line from who am I? [00:03:01] Speaker C: What's my name? [00:03:03] Speaker A: What. What is your least favorite movie that you made? [00:03:07] Speaker C: Scary Movie. Because I didn't want to be doing all that dumb stuff because people know me for who I am. I'm. I'm a true gangster. [00:03:14] Speaker A: So you. That you think people should take you serious? [00:03:18] Speaker C: I mean, I. I could be fun most of the time, but, like, if you want to get on my bad side, then, homie, you could get on my bad side, but it's not gonna be fun. Snoop Dogg. It's gonna be gangster. Snoop Dogg. [00:03:29] Speaker A: The movie was funny. So why don't you like it? People think it was funny, and, like, I. [00:03:34] Speaker C: It's not that I don't. It's not that I don't like it. It's just that I think that some of the stuff that I did in the movie was kind of not funny. [00:03:43] Speaker A: So you think people should take you serious for who you are? [00:03:46] Speaker C: Yes, but they can also, you know, joke around, you know, make jokes. Oh, yeah. Sloop Dog. That's silly guy, you know? [00:03:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what you're talking about. [00:03:58] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:03:59] Speaker B: So you're saying, like, got stage fright. You don't want people to be, you know, you want people to like what you do? [00:04:06] Speaker C: Yeah, but it's just that I think that, like, it's a scary movie. That. That's. People are gonna like, think I'm just a silly guy instead of who I do. [00:04:19] Speaker A: You have any questions for Snoop Dogg? [00:04:21] Speaker B: What's your first movie that you ever made or that you played in? [00:04:25] Speaker C: I think my first movie was I Got the Hookup. [00:04:30] Speaker A: Do you think that people is okay with you being a gangster? [00:04:34] Speaker C: I think some people are okay with me being a gangster, but so. But most of the people who've been there with me, like, since the 90s, they know I'm a gangster, and they also know I'm a fun guy all the time. I'm not always a gangster. [00:04:48] Speaker A: What is one of the last movies that you made? [00:04:51] Speaker C: It was about to ask that, Snoop. [00:04:54] Speaker B: Dogg, is it true that you played in Garfield, the new Garfield movie? [00:04:58] Speaker C: Yes, it is very true. So the last movie that I've ever made was the Garfield movie, but I'm gonna be in some new ones. I didn't do this. Go check it out. [00:05:08] Speaker A: Okay. Was Bones the favorite? Was your. Is Bones like scary movie or like a regular movie that is meant to. [00:05:18] Speaker C: Be a scary movie because I play a villain who's dead. And then I just get back at people. I don't know. I forgot what the. What the whole purpose of me being a villain is. [00:05:28] Speaker A: If you were, like, able to be a Marvel character, who would you be? What about, like, Black Panther? [00:05:34] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, Black Panther. I'm taking Black Panther. That's up. Because since I'm a dog, I might as well be a panther. Sloopanta. Also, if there was one funny move I would play in, it would be Willy Wonka. I would play as. I would be. I would have been. I would have made my. Instead of Willy Wonka, my name would have been Snoop. Snoop do Snoop Dogg. [00:06:05] Speaker B: I have a question. [00:06:06] Speaker C: I would have also had those little Oompa Loompas. Snoop Dogg. [00:06:11] Speaker B: Snoop Dogg. I have a question. [00:06:12] Speaker C: Yes? [00:06:13] Speaker B: Do you think you will win the Squid games if you was ever invited to Squid games? [00:06:18] Speaker C: Nah, I don't think I'll win. I. I mean, I think I might win. I might. I might bribe the guards. I might be in the bathroom, you know, carry a little weed on me. Carry some weed and then just, you know, do a little. Do a little puff, puff, and so it can help me focus. [00:06:34] Speaker B: So you're gonna be like Thanos popping pills out of his chain. [00:06:39] Speaker A: What I think is, who do you think is the best Marvel character or DC character? [00:06:45] Speaker C: Best. Okay, I'm gonna tell y'all both. Best DC character is Batman. Also, best Marvel character has got to be. Got to be. It's got to be at least Iron man or Spider Man. [00:07:08] Speaker A: Okay. Do you think that your rapping could change the world? [00:07:15] Speaker C: Yeah, I think my rapper might. Now. I think my rapping is too gangster. But if I. But I also make some love songs. I'm gonna start making love songs because, you know, because the world we are in right now, we just gotta. You know, we gotta spread love and we gotta, like, work together to make this world a better world. Because right now, there's kids died of school shooting, drug deals are happening, cops are dying. So I'm just trying to. So we gotta just make the world a better place. And Trump almost got assassinated. [00:07:50] Speaker A: Okay, guys, that's a wrap up for VSC Panthers perspective. Thank you for having. Thank you, Snoop Dogg, for having. For. For coming on our podcast, having yourself here on our podcast.
